Tommy Lubben brings his passion for music, storytelling, and education to Keen School of Music. Proudly know as "The Nerdiest Triplet" amonst his siblings, Tommy studied English in college, sharpening his skills as a writer and creative thinker. He channels these talents into composing music, crafting lyrics, and arranging pieces for both performance and teaching.

After high school, Tommy and his brothers spent three life-changing years in the Great North Woods of Northern Minnesota. Immersed in the wilderness, Tommy found inspiration that continues to shape his artistic approach. It was during this time that he met Bob Wenzel, a master luthier who built "The Magini," Tommy’s cherished violin, which has become a cornerstone of his musical identity.

With years of experience as a composer, performer, and educator, Tommy strives to inspire his students at Keen School of Music with the same sense of wonder and creativity that drives his own work. Whether teaching an individual lesson or guiding a group, Tommy is dedicated to helping his students grow both as musicians and as confident, expressive individuals.
